We had earlier reported that Suniel Shetty had expressed his concerns on his daughter Athiya Shetty's debut alongside Sooraj Pancholi, who has been surrounded with negative news after Jiah Khan's suicide incident. Suniel was shocked to hear rumors about him unhappy with his daughter making her debut with Sooraj floating around Bollywood. However, Suniel denied the rumors stating that he does not regret the decision of launching his daughter with Sooraj, who is 'like a son' to him.
Suniel played it safe by supporting Sooraj, and expressing that he is a very soft spoken person, who couldn't hurt anyone. Expressing his empathy for Jiah's mother Rabiya, Suniel also shared that he cannot imagine the grief which Jiah's mother must be going through.
Talking more on the launch of his daughter's debut, Suniel further shared that he has complete faith in the filmmakers of the movie and he would certainly let Salman Khan call the shots.
With 'Anna' and Salman Khan on Sooraj's side, and the police questioning the authenticity of Jiah's suicide note, it looks like Sooraj might be out of the dark cloud soon.
