After the eviction of Mandeep Bevli, the newest contestant to enter in the Bigg Boss house is social activist Swami Agnivesh.
Just when viewers were convinced that Bigg Boss was all about fights, fights and some more fights, a spiritual twist has been added to the show. Swami Agnivesh, best known for his support of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement, is all set to enter the Bigg Boss 5 House in an attempt to bring some positivity and calmness into the currently turbulent atmosphere. As a social activist, Swami Agnivesh has fought for the rights of many sects of society with great courage. While the social activist has not been an ardent follower of the show, he claims to have heard plenty about the feuds that are prevalent inside the house.
Speaking about his entry into the Bigg Boss 5 House, Swami Agnivesh said, "I decided to enter Bigg Boss because it would be a challenging experience for me. It is an attempt to reach out to the middle class audiences and make them aware about what I stand for. I haven't watched much of Bigg Boss, but from what I have seen, I know that people fight and that there is a lot of negativity in the atmosphere. However, I believe that people aren't bad on the inside. It'll be an interesting experience and I am looking forward to learn about them."
Swami Agnivesh seems clear that he is entering the show only to reach out to the masses and spread the message of co-existing in peace and harmony. He has decided that he will not voluntarily bring up the topics from his past associations and will not try to unearth someone else's past either. For him, it's the future that counts and that is what he aims to make better for the youth of the country, especially by showcasing the importance of positivity.
So will the contestants accept his point of view and shower him with the same kind of love and affection that the other contestants have received?
