Qawwali?? In Telugu?? Now that's a surprise for everyone, we must say. But Tollywood is always experimenting with dialogues, scenes or songs anytime and anywhere.

Ace music director, S. S. Thaman has done the same, experimented in a good way for Nandini Reddy's next starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Siddharth.

Thaman has just completed recording a qawwali, a form of sufi music which has been popularized by singers like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, etc. Sources say that the lyrics are written by Ramjogayya Sastry and it is heard that the song is very special, though it's never used in Telugu films.

This shooting schedule of the movie has been going on ever since, but due to Samantha's skin ailment, the movie-makers had to take a break and now that the actress is hail and hearty, everyone is back on schedule.

The unit will be travelling to Dubai (read news) on September 19 to complete a few scenes out there. The yet-to-be titled flick is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh.
