Seems like Amchi Mumbai is set to get more hot. Not just one but 3 actresses will be seen setting the screen on fire with their "thumkas" in the typical Maharashtrian "Lavani" Style.

Off late the sensual dance style "Lavani" has become quite a hit in the Bollywood flicks. Helen whose "Mungda" is still remembered by the audiences even after 3 decades have passed since the movie released, will be facing some tough competition from the present day actresses.

When it comes to item songs, these days the only name that comes to mind is Katrina Kaif. Her performance in the song "Chikni Chameli" a remake of the Marathi song "Kombdi Palali" is perhaps most talked about than the movie "Agneepath" itself. The song which is set in a bar, sees Katrina dancing on the tunes of Ajay-Atul. Wearing a nine-yard sari resembling costume and a nose ring, she has set the screen on fire!

The "ohh laa laa babe" who is currently the reigning queen of Bollywood, let tongues wag and eyeballs drop with her sensual performance in the film "The Dirty Picture". The voluptuous actress will be doing a lavani dance number in the upcoming film "Ferrari Ki Sawari". Vidya is apparently planning to shed 15 kgs and is working hard on her moves. Well the movie which is said to be a rib tickling comedy will serve as a treat to the eyes and the mind.

Chitrangada Singh is a perfectionist. Whether it comes to her complexion to her acting, it's all flawless. Chitrangada has shed her non commercial actress image and has emerged as a glam doll in her movie "Desi Boyz". She will also be seen donning a nine yard sari and performing a lavani in the film "Joker".

It remains to be seen if Katrina's "Chikni Chameli"  remains the audiences's "akeli" favourite or if Vidya and Chitrangada can provide enough oomph factor to their performances.
