December 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Walking Dead has been quite a favorite on its first show and the viewers are eagerly waiting for the return of the second season. But unfortunately it seems that the second time that survivors of the zombie apocalypse will be seen walking again will be almost after a year.
Deadline previously reported that writer and co-creator Charles Chich Eglee was fired from the show, but according to Gale Ann Hurd and executive producer Robert Kirkman, no writers were fired. Instead Charles left on his own will as he wanted to have his own show. Eglee was suppose to work under Frank for only one season and when he saw that its not happening he left the show so that he can be the boss.
According to the makers of The Walking Dead the leasing of Charles is not a big deal and they havent decided whether they will go for freelance writers for the next season. It will be only in the beginning of next year that the team Darabont and Kirkman will sit and discuss about how to go for the second season. So it seems in all likelihood that the second season of The Walking Dead will once again premiere at the Fearfest in October and make its return.
