(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Michael J. Fox impressed TV show executives so much while shooting one-off scenes recently they have begged him to return.

The actor appeared in an episode of American legal drama The Good Wife two weeks ago, playing attorney Louis Canning who clashed with lead character Alicia Florrick, portrayed by Julianna Margulies. Michael has Parkinsons disease, and in the show Louis used his own medical issue to try to influence others involved with his case.

Robert and Michelle King, who created the series and act as executive producers, were blown away by Michaels performance.

As soon as we saw the dailies of Michael playing Louis Canning, we started pleading with him to return, they told EW. Luckily he agreed. Hes amazing in this role: unpretentiously brave and funny. Its good to have him back.

Michael will star in the 13th episode of the season, with Alicia discovering Louis is involved with one of her cases as she investigates. (C) Cover Media
