Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder member of Art of Living has been in the news in the recent past for various reasons. Recently he quoted that Malala Yousafzai, the 19 year old Pakistani girl who stood up for girl's right to Education and who was shot by the Taliban did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.
Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna recently commented on the controversy by tweeting, "Sri Sri got his noble foot and half his beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose that Baba Ramdev perfected a while ago. #HolyMenandHairyTales."
This annoyed the feelings of Art of Living followers and hence they demanded a ban on her hubby Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie 'Housefull 3.' Darshak Hathi, the International Director of the Art of Living Foundation, threatened Twinkle in a tweet, which has since been deleted: "Millions of followers r going 2 boycott #Houseful3 4 hurting the sentiments by inappropriate and ill intended comments f @mrsfunnybones on Sri Sri."
To which Twinkle Khanna gave an impromptu reply. She tweeted back which read, "Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings was meant to be a joke and am old enough to accept an error of judgement on my part." To which he tweeted again, "Error of Judgement or Fear of #BoycottHousefull3. Anyway Being Old & Being wise is different thing."
The series of twitter went on as Mrs. Khiladi Kumar chose to stand tall and won't take a bow attitude. She again tweeted, "Art of living teacher practising Art of intimidation? Didn't like my joke diss me-drag my husband, boycott etc #Shame." To which again the director replied, "@mrsfunnybones My tweet was in respond to your tweet which has hurt my sentiments. I appreciate that you have gracefully deleted it and @mrsfunnybones It happens when sentiments are hurt. No Hard feeling. Sorry if you r hurt."
Well this kind of 'word-war' is not new to twitter as well as the Twitteratis.
