Film-maker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is more than just a man who writes random stories or makes breath-taking movies. He is someone who is emotionally tied up to people's lives in many ways and this time he seems to be strickly tied to his own.

The latest buzz which is exciting tinsel town is that his next movie 'Chithiyan', which is a story that traces the life of him and his late wife Renu Saluja and her relationship with Sudhir Mishra.

Apparently, Renu Saluja the most prolific film editors of the 80s was married to Chopra, but she had an alleged affair with Sudhir. Even after Vidhu found out about them, she continued working with Chopra. Their relationship created a rift between the film-makers, but the two are cordial with each other even today.

'Chithiyan' will not only speak about the director's life with his wife, but also the dynamics between him and Mishra later.

The cast is yet to be confirmed as they are looking out for two male leads and a female lead who can play the role with a lot of emotions. It is heard that Sharman Joshi is likely to play one of the leads and they have asked Ranbir Kapoor to play the other character, but that is not falling in place.

Renu, who was suffering from stomach cancer for a long time, passed away in August, 2000.

Interestingly, Sudhir Mishra also recently confirmed that his next movie 'Inkaar' starring Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh is dedicated to his former partner Renu Saluja.
