A hot gossip to do rounds in Kollywood circuits at this point of time is that Vishal and veteran Sarath Kumar's daughter Varalaxmi, who is making her acting debut in Simbu's 'Poda Podi', are in love with each other.

"They know each other for the past two decades. However cupid struck them only recently and they are serious about taking their relationship to the next level,'"sources in the know say.

However, Vishal is quick to deny any such affair. "I accept that we are good friends. But there is nothing more between us. We will remain as good pals forever."

The actor, who is happy about the response he received for Bala's 'Avan Ivan', is currently busy with Prabhudeva-directed 'Vedi', which is a remake of Telugu hit 'Sowryam'.
