(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Zach Galifianakis says his good looks have always set him apart from others.

The 41-year-old actor received high praise for his hilarious role in 2009 comedy The Hangover playing oddball Alan Garner, and he is currently promoting The Hangover Part II, which sees him reprise the kooky role and is set for release later this month.

Zach is famed for sporting rather long and bushy facial hair, and the star has teased that his hirsuteness began at an early age.

"I was exceptionally good-looking that's when I knew I was different," he laughed, when ShortList asked how he knew he was different from other kids growing up.

"And also because I had a beard at the age of five."

Zach famously loves clowning around, and began his career as an underground comedian. His great sense of humour has earned him many female admirers, with actress January Jones among them. However, when ShortList told Zach that January, best known for playing Betty Draper in American show Mad Men, had told them he was the most naturally gifted comedian she had ever met, Zach seemed bemused.

"That's really funny because, if I remember correctly, she and I were very rude to each other. It was crazy. I was at a party I'd never met her and she was like, Come sit down.' So I sit at her table and talked for ten minutes and she goes, I think it's time for you to leave now.'

"So I say, January, you are an actress in a show and everybody's going to forget about you in a few years, so f**king be nice,' and I got up and left. And she thinks that's funny?" he pondered. (C) Cover Media
