Anurag Kashyap who is amongst the ones who believes that social media gives a platform to speak our mind has apparently deleted his Twitter account following the controversy on the selection of India's official entry to the Oscars.
Anurag and
Karan Johar's joint production venture,
'The Lunchbox' has lost the race to a Gujarati film
'The Good Road' directed by a new director,
Gyan Correa.
The filmmaker is disappointed that the selection committee has overlooked Ritesh Batra's film that deserves to be India's official entry at the Academy Awards.
Anurag has pulled the plug from social media after his angry comments on the issue were misinterpreted by the media.
He also recently had apologised when he posted a wrong tweet on the ailing
Dilip Kumar passing away.
Anurag in the past has also been in news for posting harsh comments on the microblogging site.
