(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amanda Seyfried says dating a man with poor hygiene is an "absolute no-no".

The American actress has previously enjoyed high-profile romances with Hollywood hunks Dominic Cooper and Ryan Phillippe.

Amanda is particular when it comes to potential boyfriends and their habits, and says men who don't look after themselves are a total turn-off.

"Poor hygiene is an absolute no-no: they have to shower once or twice daily at least," she explained in an interview with Glamour magazine.

"Oh, and I could never be with someone who treats his mother like sh*t, or a guy who waxes his chest."

Amanda is starring alongside Ben Barnes in new drama The Big Wedding. The blonde beauty says the British actor is very easy on the eye.

"Have you ever seen Ben Barnes? He looks like a model," she mused.

"I'd never met him before in my life but the other day we had to share a jet together, just me, him and my dog, and I'm telling you it was the best five hours of my life."

Amanda started dating British actor Dominic in 2009 after they co-starred in musical comedy Mamma Mia! together. The couple broke up in May 2010.

Amanda, 25, prefers English humour, and had a blast spending time with Dominic and his pals.

"British guys are definitely funnier than American guys. I've always laughed more with British men. All Dom's friends are just hysterical," she explained.

According to recent reports, Amanda is dating real estate agent Andrew Joblon.

The pair were spotted together at the Eric Trump Foundation's Golf Invitational & Gala in New York last month - although the actress' representative hasn't commented on the romance rumours.

Amanda had previously been single since splitting from Ryan Phillippe earlier this year. (C) Cover Media
