He played a playboy in 'Bachna Ae HAseno', a game planner in 'Raajneeti', a troubled artist in 'Rockstar' for which he also swept all the awards last year. He preseneted himself in a different light with his latest flick 'Barfi'. We are talking about the 'youth icon' today, Ranbir Kapoor.
Ranbir is already showered with accolades and praises from all end for portraying the challenging role of a deaf and mute character in the film. While Critics and fans have been going gaga over him, the latest to publicly praise him is his director Anurag Basu. Anurag who directed Ranbir in 'Barfi', claims that he is the finest actor from the current lot.
"I think that he's the finest actor of his generation," said Anurag who further confessed that Ranbir's brilliance lies in his simplicity.
"What intrigues me about him is that he doesn't even know how brilliant he is. In a way, it's working for him because this self-doubt makes him push himself harder," added Anurag.
Well, we hear that Anurag is all set to work with Ranbir again for his next flick which will be based on Kishore Kumar.
