(Cover) - EN Movies - Kevin Bacon, John Hurt, Robert Patrick and Ray Stevenson have joined the cast of Billy Bob Thornton's new movie.
Thornton is directing Jayne Mansfield's Car which is the first movie he's helmed since 2001 release Daddy and Them. He announced he was working on the film last year and wrote the script with Tom Epperson. It seems the star is ready to begin shooting soon as he's now finalised his cast.
It was previously known that Robert Duvall would appear, while Thornton is also known to have an acting part. John Patrick Amedori has a lead role in the release, which is a dramatic comedy.
Although Bacon, Hurt, Patrick and Stevenson have been confirmed for the picture, their roles remain unknown.
Duvall opened up about his role in the picture earlier this year, and discussed how excited he is about the storyline.
"It's about a guy in between WWI and WWII who raises a family after his wife left him for an Englishman and moved to England When the wife dies, she asks to be brought back to Alabama to be buried, and at that point the character hasn't seen her in 20 or 30 years. The two families her original family she abandoned and her English family meet and then things get really interesting," he explained.
Alexander Rodnyansky is producing the movie, which is slated for release in 2013. (C) Cover Media
