(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cee Lo Green thinks Gwyneth Paltrow covering his song is too awesome.

Hollywood actress Gwyneth recorded her own version of Cee Los hit Forget You for her cameo appearance on hit US musical comedy Glee about a high school singing club.

Cee Lo is already a huge fan of the popular show, which has taken the world by storm and seen a host of musicians desperate to hear their tracks performed by the cast, but when he realised multi-talented star Gwyneth would be the one performing his song he couldnt believe his luck.

"I didn't realise when we first did the clearances for it," he told MTV. "I just thought that maybe it would be sung by the cast, but [it] turns out to be her. I'm like, 'That's just, that's too awesome.' "

Gwyneth portrays a substitute teacher who fills in for Mr. Schuester, the character played by Matthew Morrison, in the action-packed episode.

The star is an accomplished vocalist and also displays her musical talents in the musical drama Country Strong, where she plays a country singer. Actor/musician Tim McGraw portrays her characters husband and manager, with Garrett Hedlund as a rising musician and Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester as a beauty-queen-turned-singer.
