David Beckham says his daughter Harper's wardrobe is "ridiculous".
The soccer star admitted that the baby girl's clothes collection is extensive and pricey, joking he is glad he earns enough money to afford the garments.
Born last July, the David and his wife Victoria's first daughter has been kitted out with mostly designer items and has become a mini style icon in her own right.
"Her wardrobe is ridiculous already. I'm glad I got a two-year contract," the football star joked at a Google press conference last night.
David has just renewed his contract with soccer team LA Galaxy for another two years because his family loves their Californian life.
The 36-year-old also recalled an embarrassing mix-up between American and British English.
David told how his eldest son Brooklyn was left red-faced after he asked for rubbers', referring to the British meaning of a pencil eraser. American guests at the Beckham's house thought the 12-year-old was asking for condoms.
"Brooklyn said, 'Daddy, I need some rubbers,'" David said. "I looked over at our friends from the US and they were in shock. He now calls them erasers."
