20th February 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon has revealed Mark Ronson cared so much about producing the bands new album.

The British New Wave band were one of the most successful acts in the 1980s, and enjoyed success with songs including Rio, Girls on Film, The Wild Boys and A View to a Kill.

Duran Duran are making a fresh assault on the music charts with their new album All You Need Is Now. Their latest album was produced by Mark Ronson, who previously revealed he is a huge fan of the band. Simon was impressed by Marks enthusiasm as well as his endless stream of ideas on how to make the new material a hit.

He was absolutely determined to make his point. But its because he cares so much, the singer told the British edition of OK! magazine.

Mark, 35, has enjoyed success in the charts, most notably with his second album Version. The record produced three top ten hits and won him a BRIT Award for Best Male Artist 2008.

Duran Duran comprising of members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor have revealed that it was a pleasure working with the DJ and record producer.

Were all big fans and then we met him, and hes such a lovely guy. He was just so nice to be with and it was just a very natural progression from that to working with him, Roger gushed.

Roger went on to say its a shame that Marks talent is often overlooked because of his lifestyle and fashion. He admitted that there are some people around today who have celebrity status but dont have the talent to match. (C) Cover Media
