After a hiatus of nearly four years, director Ezhil, whose last film was the Jayam Ravi and Bhavana starrer "Deepavali", is coming up with his next, and his own co-production, "Manam Kothi Paravai". 

The film has popular television host Siva Karthikeyan as the lead actor. Siva, known for his witty one-liners kept the entire unit in splits during the shooting. Athmiya plays the heroine and filmmaker Ravi Mariya, Soori and Ilavarasu form part of the cast. 

The shooting for the movie is on at Karaikudi where the actor performed for a peppy dance number. Speaking about the film, Ezhil, says, 'After "Deepavali", which was a well-received film, I had written another script, but even after waiting for a couple of years, I could not materialise it into a film'. 

'And that is when I decided, that my next venture has to my own production. I wrote another script and in association with other sfriends of mine, have set up my own production called Olympia Movies and "Manam Kothi Paravai" is my venture there.'

Songs for the film are already ready, five of them composed by D Imman and the lyrics completely penned by Yugabharathi.
