Don't be surprised if Farah Khan's directorial venture 'Happy New Year' goes on to create many more records at the box office.

After racing ahead of Akshay Kumar's 'Holiday' which had collected 112.65 crores and Salman Khan's 'Jai Ho' which had collected 111 crores at the domestic box office, it has surpassed action thriller 'Dhoom 3' record too.

While 'HNY' grossed 108.86 crores at the opening weekend, Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3', had minted 107.61 crores. This makes the movie the fourth highest grosser of 2014.

The film grossed around 44.97 crores on day one, followed by which it collected 31.60 crores and 32.29 crores on its third day.
