It all started when Jiiva signed on the dotted line for ‘Ko’, when Simbu, who was initially roped in for the project, walked out of it following a difference of opinion with director K V Anand. Since then, it is said that there existed a cold war between the two.

Recently, in an interview, Simbu reportedly made some comments which were apparently targeted at Jiiva. Reacting to this, Jiiva said at a press meet that he was a never a friend with Silambarasan and people should not back stab others.

These remarks have earned the wrath of Jai, the ‘Subramanyapuram’ and ‘Vamanan’ fame actor, who is a good friend to STR. Remember Jai is now acting with Simbu for ‘Vettai Mannan’, an action thriller.

Jai said, “Jiiva himself has made it clear that Simbu is no friend of his. Then how could Simbu backstab him. Jiiva’s speech is not right. I personally know Silambarasan very well and he is a gem of a person, who is always willing to help others.”
