(Cover) - EN Fashion - Jane Fonda has joked her good looks are down to ?good genes and money".
The 72-year-old actress is beautiful today as she was in her acting heyday in the 60s, but admits she decided to use surgery to enhance her appearance as she hated looking tired.
Jane found that eating well and keeping fit weren?t enough to maintain her good looks, so she paid a large sum of money to have surgery.
"I'm careful about how I eat. I stay active. I have good genes - and money," she laughed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Jane has opted to speak out about her surgery because she doesn?t want her fans to think her fresh-faced looks could be attained without the help of a surgeon.
"I recently had plastic surgery. It was a hard decision to make, and I decided if I'm going to do it, I'm going to tell the truth. I'm writing a book about ageing, so I can't write that book and not say I've had plastic surgery.
?And you know, I just decided it was for me - I don't want to have bags under my eyes that make me look tired, and so forth and so on," she explained.
The Oscar-winning Hollywood star has also undergone various operations over the years and teased that she will soon be made entirely from replaced body parts. "I have a new hip. I have a new knee, and I'm going to soon be bionic," she laughed. (C) Cover Media
