(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jonah Hill says that there was no miracle cure to his weight loss.

The actor has stunned fans with his 40lbs. reduction in size but says that he just dedicated himself to his new regime.

Jonah looks completely different to when he was carrying around a lot more and wishes there was a magic solution to slimming down.

"I wish there was some amazing book that had all the world's secrets," he told Extra TV. "But unfortunately, it's just hard work."

Jonah stars as the voice of Allen Gregory in a new animated series called the same and says the character was not mirrored after himself at all.

"Allen Gregory is like the most arrogant kid to walk the face of the earth," he laughed.

Although the 27-year-old is in the best shape of his life, newly single after breaking up with his girlfriend and one of Hollywood's hottest talents, he admits that he still lives at home with his parents.

The Superbad star told Ellen DeGeneres that he bought a house in 2009 but it has been having lengthy renovations.

"They [contractors] were like, It'll be two months tops.' I probably should have just built it myself with three of my buddies. It would probably be somewhat ready by now," he shared.

"I've been living with my folks and I'll be 28 in December. That's a true test of if you're actually a stud if you can pull a girl while you live with your folks." (C) Cover Media
