(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joseph Gordon-Levitt seems a mild-mannered kind of actor but apparently the Lincoln star has a wild side.
The 31-year-old spoke to Extra TV about his passion project which gives people a chance to get their projects out.
And Joseph says he uses it as an opportunity to let his hair done in ways he wouldn't normally get to.
"Hit Record is like my baby. I call it a collaborative production company," he explained. "Anyone can come to our site hitrecord.org and contribute to our projects and then we make things."
"We screen short films we've made at film festivals, we've published books and put out records and then when we make a profit we split them in half. Half goes to the company and half goes to the contributing artists.
"I kind of made a rule for myself that even when it gets a higher profile and starts to make money, it's my thing I do for myself. I do like to do some freaky things. I'm not going to stop."
Joseph shared the freakiest thing he's ever done.
"Dressed up as a bloody clown on Halloween and led hundreds of people through the streets of New York. That's what happened at our show last year. It was kind of freaky," he laughed. (C) Cover Media
