Actor Karthi walked with a request towards Chennai City Commissioner of Police to discuss on curbing down the circulation of pirated videos of his recent release 'Siruthai'. The actor was cool as cucumber before as his previous movies 'Paiyaa' and 'Naan Mahaan Alla' had strict vigilance by the producers. But now the actor is so disappointed as the pirated videos have crisp quality that is selling like hot cakes in markets. The actor personally shares good rapport with City Commissioner as he acquired some skills for his role of police officer in 'Siruthai'. Soon after the meeting, the actor addressed media channels that police commissioner has promised to immediate actions. 'Siruthai' is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green Films and is directed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Siva. Starring Karthi and Thamannah in lead roles, the film is a remake of Telugu movie 'Vikramakudu'.
