'Mangala' to scare audiences
19th January 2011
Charmi has always been choosy about her scripts as she loves working on heroine based movies. It was very much illustrious with her 'Mantra' that worked wonders in box office for its 'thrill' moments in screenplay. The film revolves an orphan girl (Charmi), who grows up living with her close friend. When the money lenders force her to payback the debts of her father, she is left with no options other than selling her huge bungalow located at outskirts of city. But the previous dwellers in the house have died mysteriously that turns out to be a hurdle to sell the property. A goon who demands for the money hires devil-may-care henchmen (Sivaji) and he gets to know about the situation. He accepts to stay in that house so that the buyer will take the house without any issues so that he will get commission after transaction. But when mystery hits him when his close friend dies mysteriously in the house and he sets out to unravel the hidden past of the house.
Director Osho Tulasiram adds that if 'Mantra' was an edge-seated thriller, 'Mangala' promises to scare the audience tingling their spines. The song 'Maha Maha' in 'Mantra' became so famous and so is the new song 'Ice Ice' in 'Mangala'. The makers have shot the song stylishly as it has become favorite number amongst the youth groups. The film is scheduled to hit screens next month. Uttej, Pradeep Rawat and Subhash are in the supporting roles. Music has been scored by Viswa and camera handled by Dasarathi Sivendra.
