(Cover) - EN Star Style - Leighton Meester says her hairstyle in Gossip Girl doesnt reflect her true style.

The 24-year-old American actress is known for playing Blair Waldorf in popular US television series Gossip Girl. As a result of the role, Leighton has become a media favourite and a style icon on account of the memorable outfits paraded on the show.

The star plans to continue her ascent with a role in the film Country Strong starring alongside Gwyneth Paltrow. She revealed that although she appreciates the various different looks needed to portray her characters, they usually fail to represent the real her.

In the movie Country Strong, Im like Country Barbie I have huge red hair with tons of curls, and its always very done; thats definitely not me, but it was so much fun to wear, she told the British edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.

In Gossip Girl, Blairs hair is perfect again, not me but I wouldnt want it any other way for the character. (C) Cover Media
