Mahesh Babu's latest flick Dookudu is not just creating waves in Andhra Pradesh, but in neighbouring Tamil Nadu too. The film released in 15 screens in Chennai alone on Friday, along with the rest of the world.

The film has taken the best ever opening day collection for a Telugu film at the Chennai Box-Office (CBO). 'Chennai has a sizeable Telugu speakign population and Tamil's too are interested in watching Tollywood flicks these days,' sources say.

Meanwhile, pandemonium prevailed at the theatres screening Mahesh Babu's latest Dookudu in several parts of Telangana districts.

Though the theatre managements at Parigi, Mahaboobnagar, Samshabad, Tandur, Jaheerabad, Medak and other areas, sought police protection, the presence of a couple of cops could not control the massive agitating crowds for the Telangana state. 

In the meantime, Mahesh watched Dookudu on the release day in Hyderabad with several film personalities and with other audience.
