A 23-year-old waiter of an Udipi restaurant was arrested by Crime Branch of Mumbai for sending threatening messages to Madhuri Dixit.

On November 25, the accused sent four messages, threatening to kill her and her kids, if she doesn't pay the ransom demanded by him.

A source says, "The accused was traced and arrested after a complaint was registered by the actor's personal assistant with the cyber police cell."

He also claims to be close to an underworld don, thus the cops are now investigating if he has any links to the underworld.

He has acquired several other celebrities numbers from film directories informed a source.
