The actress has been chosen as the grand marshal for the India Day Parade in New York City.

The event will be hosted by the country on August 9, 2015. Excited actress has already departed for the same on July 28, 2015. Reportedly before attending the ceremony she will be heading to Los Angeles to fulfil her work commitments.

The actress shared with her fans and posted a poster of the upcoming event on Facebook, "America , meet me as your Grand Marshal on 9th Aug. India Day Parade"
