Vijay Krishna Acharya multi starrer highly anticipated period drama 'Thugs of Hindostan' gave away its lead character introduction poster one by one. After revealing the characters of Amitabh Bachchan as Khudabaksh - the 'biggest thug of all,' Fatima Sana Shaikh as accurate archer Zafira and Katrina Kaif as dancer Suraiyya we are now introduced to the final Thug, Firangi played Aamir Khan through a motion poster.
The motion poster includes Aamir in a vintage 18th-century attire sitting over a jackass and saluting with his magic hat on. He has a bottle of liquor over his pocket and looks like this is a quirky character to be played the actor.
Aamir captioned the motion poster and wrote,"और इ हैँ हम, फिरंगी मल्लाह. हम से ज्यादा नेक इन्सान इस धरती पे कहीं नहीं मिलेगा आपको. सच्चाई तो हमरा दूसरा नाम है, और भरोसा हमरा काम. दादी कसम !!!" Click here to watch Aamir as Firangi, the final Thug.
Moreover, Thugs of Hindostan has been made on a massive budget, a source reveals. "Since sea and ships play an integral part in the plot, Aamir as well as (producer) Aditya Chopra were sure that they would go all out to present the biggest spectacle that Hindi cinema has ever witnessed. The film’s budgets are yet to be ascertained, but the cost for the two ships easily runs into several crores."
The film is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 critically acclaimed novel 'Confessions of a Thug' and is slated to release on November 8.
