Nayanthara clarifies rumors

13th July 2011

Finally Nayanthara has spilled the beans (however, with much care) on her reported decision to bid adieu to acting, to marry Prabhudeva, who was last week granted a divorce by a Chennai-based family court.

"It would not be correct to say 'Sri Ramarajyam' is my last film. I would rather say I have not signed any new films after 'Sri Ramarajyam', so far. I am in an important phase of my life now and am enjoying it," says the actress.

On her shedding tears on the last day of the shoot of 'Sri Ramarajyam', which has Balakrishna playing the role of Lord Rama and Nayanthara playing the role of Goddess Sita, she says, "Because I was so close with the unit. And the director is a living legend there. I felt it was a privilege to work with him. So I couldn't control my tears on the final day of the shoot".

When asked when she would marry Prabhudeva, Nayan says, "I understand that the media will always flash something on celebrities. But at the same time people should also understand that I have a personal life to live and no one has the right to interfere in it."
