(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicki Minaj has revealed the paparazzi are "willing to have an accident" to take photographs of her.
The rapper has been chased by the media since shooting to fame after the release of Pink Friday in 2010. Nicki admits it's hard to go through life unnoticed, particularly when she drives through Malibu in her pink car.
"People are willing to have an accident," she told host Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show.
"A girl literally cut through traffic and made a U-turn just to put her car in front of my car, so she could take a picture."
Nicki has also received plenty of attention from her fans, including British girls Sophia Grace and Rosie who covered her song Super Bass on YouTube.
The video has been viewed more than 40 million times on the popular website. Nicki reunited with the young followers on the show and advised them to paint their world with her favourite colour.
"Pink is your colour," she said.
"Pink is gonna keep you happy for the rest of your life. Pink is gonna give you power, energy, and the girliness that you need. You wear your crown and you're a queen."
The 29-year-old star also spoke about being a role model to young people. Nicki admits the explicit lyrics in her music are not suitable for children.
"You know what, I'm realising I don't have to deal with it I'm not their parents," she said when Ellen asked how she felt about the impact her music is having on the younger generation.
"I can only give advice which is to stay a child and don't rush to grow up." (C) Cover Media
