(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Nicki Minaj has refused to reveal the target of the hostile words she raps on her new album Pink Friday.
The American rapper-and-singer unleashed a string of angry lyrics for the track Romans Revenge featuring Eminem and suggests that an anonymous person is jealous of her.
But the 25-year-old is reluctant to reveal who has upset her, insisting the only people who should feel worried about her lyrics are the ones who know they have behaved badly.
"When you put out records, only the guilty ones feel like you're talking about them," Nicki told The Wendy Williams Show. "If you have nothing to worry about, if you never came out saying stuff, if you never came out saying your ungrateful bulls**t, then you wouldn't worry about it."
The star - who has also collaborated with Kanye West and will.i.am - will not be drawn on discussing the source of her annoyance.
She insists that as long as her fans know the truth of her words and who she is, she does not feel the need to reveal all in public.
"I don't get into that. I feel like my music, my fans know everything that's going on," she told the talk-show host. "Every time I talk, every time I spit raps, my fans know who I'm talking about, what I'm talking about. I don't have to sit up here and detail it. No. For what?"
It has been speculated that the track is aimed at fellow American rapper Lil Kim. (C) Cover Media
