It has been reported as to how Akshay Kumar will be next seen in the Hindi remake of a hit South Indian film. And here comes the confirmed news that the talked about film is a remake of Malayalam film 'Pokkiri Raja', which will be helmed by Anthony D'Souza who has earlier directed Akshay in 'Blue'
While the original that came in 2010 starred Mammootty, Prithviraj and Shriya Sharan in the lead, the Hindi remake will have Akshay in Mammooty's place.
The makers plan to name the Hindi version as 'Naam Hai Boss' or 'Boss'. But the interesting part of the film is that Akshay will not have any leading lady opposite him.
There will be two newcomers, one male and one female, who will replace Prithviraj and Shriya Sharan, but Akshay will not romance any actress per say.
Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty too is reported to be a part of the film. The shooting of the film is expected to start by September and is slated for an early release next year.
