Telugu film producer Ashok Vallabhaneni who is known for his films like ‘Sega’ starring Nithya Menon and Nani and the hit remake of Tamil film ‘Erra Gulabeelu’ starring Sameera Reddy and Veera has been arrested by the SR Nagar, Hyderabad Police owing to a land grabbing case. It is reported that the producer has bought a few flats that have already been sold to some other party and are already occupied by them.

However, Ashok illegally threatened the inmates and forced them to evacuate the flat which led to him being arrested along with 10 other people involved in the case.

After the police studied the documents provided by the occupants, they found it original and had to send Ashok to jail. The court took them under judicial remand and later they have been sent to Charlapalli Jain in Hyderabad.
