September 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Malayalam film director Vinayan, who is in the news for speaking against almost all the celebrities in Mollywood, is now getting it back. Rueben Gomez, the producer of Vinayan's latest film Yakshiyum Njanum is lashing out all fowl words against him.
Ruben is very frustrated with Vinayan as according to him, the director is responsible for making severe losses. He was quoted saying that he suffered the loss because Vinayan could not finish the movie within the initially proposed budget. Vinayan has been allegedly trying to sell of the remake rights of the film to other South Indian languages' producers without taking permission from him.
Speaking to the media at Cochin Press Club, Reuben disclosed that Vinanyan had planned to manhandle FEFCA president B Unnikrishnan. He also added that the director is expert in the tricks to trap the small time producers like him.
On the other hand, Vinayan has rubbished all the allegations and said that there is no question of incurring any loss because he had made the film within the budget of Rs 2 crores. The director further said that the change is the stand of the producer is because of signing the megastar Mammootty, who has allotted him dates for his new production.
