Raj Kiran, the Bollywood star of the '70s & '80s has been located in Atlanta. He is the one who played the role of Rishi's 'pre-incarnation' in Subhash Ghai's 'Karz'.

The actor had disappeared for more than a decade and was assumed dead by his family and friends. The only person who thought otherwise was his friend and co-star Rishi Kapoor.

Rishi decided to locate the missing actor and during his recent trip to the USA, he finally resolved the mystery. He found him living in a mental institution in Atlanta, fending for himself.

On his trip to the US, Rishi touched base with Raj Kiran's brother, Govind Mehtani and enquired about his whereabouts. That's when he learnt that actor has been confined to an asylum due to mental health problems. The actor, who was so famous and successful at one time, is working at the same institution so that he can pay for his own treatment. It 's been rumored that the actor's family has abandoned him.

The actor had a lot of personal problems which caused a lot of mood swings which finally left him in a state of depression. He was previously confined to an asylum in India before he left for the US.

Rishi Kapoor has decided that he will do whatever he can to bring the actor back to where he truly belongs. He has decided to personally help the actor in re-establishing himself in Bollywood. A really caring gesture from Rishi Kapoor and we wish Raj Kiran a speedy recovery!
