Looks like a spoof on Ram Gopal Varma is on the cards and Rajendra Prasad will be at the helm of affairs. Titled 'It’s Shyam Gopal Varma Film', the bilingual to be simultaneously made in Hindi and Telugu, would go on floors shortly.

Directed by newcomer Rakesh Srinivas, the project is a full-length satire and Rajendra Prasad is playing the role of a popular director (apparently inspired by RGV). The tagline of the movie is 'You should not miss this film'.

Confirming this, Rajendra Prasad, who is popular in the north with Quick Gun Murugan, says, "I am not supposed to reveal anything about the movie, but for the fact that I am part of it. I can also say it will be a laughathon from the beginning till the end."

On why he is giving importance for humour subjects, the actor says, "Comedy is not as easy as one thinks. It is a very serious film because it is so difficult to make the audience laugh. I love playing comedy roles and am happy about it."
