(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rose Byrne is glad she didnt win a Golden Globe award because she was terrified shed forget to thank people in her acceptance speech.

The actress has been nominated for the best supporting actress on a TV show for her role in US drama Damages twice, but is yet to take home the prestigious prize. The 31-year-old isnt particularly worried though, as the thought of having to pay tribute to those who have helped her career fills her with dread.

When they announced the nominees my heart was pounding, she explained. I kept remembering the five people I had to thank and thinking, As long as I can get those names out Ill be fine. But I didnt win, so I didnt have to worry.

Rose has appeared in movies such as 28 Weeks Later and Get Him to the Greek, but says shes rarely recognised when she is out and about. Thats a blessing when it comes to dating, which the star finds hard. She gets nervous when she is around people she likes, and becomes tongue-tied in front of strangers too.
