(Cover) - EN Star Style - Sofia Coppola thinks dressing up in glamorous outfits is fun.

The 39-year-old director is currently promoting her latest film Somewhere, which stars Hollywood hunk Stephen Dorff as Johnny Marco, a wild Hollywood actor who re-assesses his life after his 11-year-old daughter surprises him with a visit.

Sofia admits theres nothing better than getting glammed up before a premiere or showbiz party, especially since she wears such practical clothing for work.

It's fun sometimes, especially at movie premieres, because in real life I don't make that kind of effort, she told stylist.com.

Sofia even made comparisons between herself and Stephens character Johnny in Somewhere, saying they share a passion for casualwear. The brunette beauty was quick to point out she isnt quite as scruffy as him though, and has her work shirts made in a chic store near her home in Paris, France.

I'm not as sloppy as Johnny Marco, but even when I'm working, I like to have a uniform: I wear the same jeans and shirts, she explained. And I have a bunch of button-down shirts made at Charvet in Paris so I don't have to think about what to wear.

The stylish moviemaker prefers wearing sports shoes when shes working on a film as it makes running around a great deal easier. When it comes to eveningwear the star is certainly partial to donning a killer heel though.

For work, I wear sneakers because I'm on my feet all day, but in the evening, I like to wear a heel, she added. (C) Cover Media
