Sonu Nigam has reportedly been threatened by the underworld. The singer has approached the police, alleging he has got threat calls from underworld don Chhota Shakeel.
He told the police that the Dawood Ibrahim gang member made several threat calls asking him to change the event management company that will handle his 2014 world tour.
Sources also say the caller warned him that they'll malign his image by making public some details of his friendship with an influential woman of a prominent family in Mumbai.
If necessary, police will provide him security after ascertaining facts from him.
