Often Bollywood's Badshah Shah Rukh Khan is accused of malpractices when it comes to awards. He has been blamed to buy awards by handsomely rewarding the jury for his selection.

However, for all these years SRK has refused to pay heed to the rumours. But when it comes to give the right credit, the actor has never shied away from doing so.

The actor, who was recently awarded the best actor award in the popular category for his film 'Happy New Year', has apparently requested the award organisers to not nominate him for his last release.

According to him there are others who not only deserve a nomination, but also awards for their splendid performances. Hence, in his opinion, his nomination against such fine performances doesn't deserve to earn that place in the category.

He feels that while other performances were way better, his was not up to the mark. Following his appeal, we hear most of the award organisers have dropped SRK's name from the best actor category.
