Filmmaker Shankar maybe rejoicing for his tremendous success with 'Endhiran', but on the other end, he is completely perplexed over his next project, which happens to be the remake of Bollywood blockbuster '3 Idiots' that had Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in lead roles with Kareena Kapoor as the heroine. The Tamil version was supposed to have Vijay in lead role along with Jeeva and Srikanth. But due to some creative difference of opinions, the actor walked out of the project. However Shankar was keen on starting the Telugu version with Mahesh Babu, which again seems to be a constraint for him. Closer sources have confirmed that Mahesh Babu has opted out of '3 Idiots' due to his busy schedules with his ongoing film 'Dookudu' that is directed by Srinu Vaitla. Also it has been revealed by other sources that Shankar is likely to rope Suriya for both the versions as he has fans following him in both Telugu and Tamil groups.
