Kochadaiyaan has been in the news since the very minute the project was announced. 

The film which is being shot using performance capturing technology, is made in 3D, to present it as a visual treat to the fans of Superstar Rajinikanth. And now, the movie's songs and background score are being recorded using a state of the art technology called Stereo D.

Confirming this on her microblogging page, Kochadaiyaan's director Soundarya R Ashwin wrote: "Thrilled and honored to work with the stereoscopic team of Avengers, Thor, Titanic 3d, Avatar to name a few, STEREO D for Kochadaiyaan."

The younger daughter of Rajini has brought together an ensemble of cast for Kochadaiyaan. The list includes Sarath Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Aadhi, Shobana, Nassar and Rukmini.
