The Killers believe there is "a light missing" now that band member Tommy Marth has passed away.
The saxophonist for the Brandon Flowers led rock group was found dead in his Las Vegas home Monday morning.
The Clark County Coroner's Office has confirmed to E! News that Tommy's official cause of death was ruled to be suicide.
The Killers are sad to see their confidant depart.
"Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family.There's a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy (sic)," the band posted on Twitter this week.
Tommy joined The Killers in 2005 and became part of the band's touring line-up in 2008. The musician played his sax on two of the band's albums, 2006 release Sam's Town and 2008's Day & Age.
Tommy also performed with a number of Sin City acts including Black Camaro and the Big Friendly Corporation.
He had no children and is survived by two siblings and his parents.
