'Good friends' Vishal and Varalakshmi have been roped in together by director Sundar C in his forthcoming film 'Madha Gaja Raja', shortly known as MGR. 

Reportedly Sundar thought that Varalakshmi was the perfect replacement for Karthika who walked out of the venture for some ‘unavoidable reasons’. 

Apart from Varalakshmi, Tapsee Pannu will also be a part of the main star cast since Vishal plays triple role in the film. 

While Vishal is shooting for 'Samar', Varalakshmi is eagerly awaiting the release of 'Poda Podi'.
