Will Aishwarya step into Kajol's shoes?

Anil Kapoor's '24' has opened way for big stars to get into TV production and feature on the small screen.
Rensil D'Silva is co-scripting a 27 episode fiction TV show that is about a single mother living in an extended joint family in Dehli.
Kajol was on his wish-list, but apparently the actress asked for a whopping fee for the show and had to be turned down.
Kajol asked for a little more than 15 crores for the show while the budget was one-third of it.
Sources say the channels are willing to shed that kind money if it is a
Salman Khan or
Amitabh Bachchan who have proved their mettle on the small screen with hosting multiple seasons of their TV shows
'Bigg Boss' and
'Kaun Banega Crorepati' respectively, but no one will pay that much for a female debutante. Now, the makers are thinking of appraoching
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the role.
Let's wait and watch whether the former beauty queen will sign the dotted line or not.
