(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Courteney Cox Arquette insists she has no plans to begin dating, revealing she still has strong feelings for her estranged husband.

The actress announced she was having a trial separation from David Arquette after 11 years of marriage in October last year. Shortly after the split David began partying and gave several outspoken interviews about his relationship with Courteney. In January, the 39-year-old actor entered rehab for alcohol and depression issues and has since said he feels like a changed person. Courteney is impressed by Davids efforts to clean up his life and admits she will always feel something for him.

"[I dont] know what the future holds, and I guess because I [still] have strong feelings for [David]... I'm his biggest protector. I can't help it, she said in an interview with Harpers Bazaar. "Most guys aren't mature, are they? If you know who David is, you know what his intentions are, how honest he is, and how big his heart is You can't really get mad at David because he's not a malicious person.

"I think every relationship has a point where you stop and re-evaluate. I think that's a normal thing to do, but it's so much harder when it's done publicly.

Courteney isnt interested in looking for another romantic relationship at the moment. She is happy to focus on her acting career and her six-year-old daughter Coco. Even if the 46-year-old star did want to meet new people, she admits it would be difficult because she is such an introvert.

"I have no desire right now," Courteney replied when asked about dating. "I'm not saying never; it just seems weird. I don't even know how that would happen or how you meet people. I don't like to go out. I'm not great at small talk I don't like to go to parties.

"There's a sign on my forehead: exiting social life, entering into isolation."

Even if Courteney and David decide to make their split permanent, they have vowed to remain on good terms for the sake of Coco. They want their daughter to be happy and will put aside their differences so she can have a stable family unit as she is growing up.

"She's our number one priority," Courteney added. "No matter what happens, she'll be OK because she knows that she is completely safe, loved, and we'll protect that more than anything in the world." (C) Cover Media
