Seems like "Ekk Deewana Tha" has become controversy's favourite child even before the release.
For some time now, Prateik and Amy Jackson have been making news about their sizzling chemistry — both on and off screen. But now, as "Ekk Deewana Tha" gears up for release 17th February makers have started worrying about various steamy scenes in the film.
A source, says that the scene which was shot a few days back, was a bit steamy and realised that the Censor Board might have a problem with it. “And to avoid any further hurdles we have taken the decision to edit some scenes from the final cut. Though we maintain that it is an aesthetically shot sequence and doesn’t look vulgar at all".
When contacted, director Gautham Menon confesses that his team is still pondering about the fate of the sequence. “The scenes are aesthetically shot, so we are left thinking whether to tone it or completely edit it,” he says, adding Amy and Prateik were extremely professional during the shoot of the sequence.
The film had earlier run into trouble with certain religious groups with the inclusion of the song "Hosanna".
