The mixed reviews for Reema Kagti's flick 'Talaash', didn’t affect the business of the film which made heaps of profits within two weeks of the release. The team recently celebrated the success of the film where co-producer Farhan Akhtar confessed that Aamir Khan's association with the film gave it a new dimension all together.

He believes in the fact that people associate certain expectations and credibility with Aamir Khan's films, it added as a bonus to 'Talaash'. "Aamir's association speaks volumes about the content of the film. He is someone who is known to attach himself to a film that has a serious story to tell and something new to share with people," said Farhan.

Talking about 'Talaash', Farhan exclaims that his association with the film did draw crowds to the theatres. "He is known to do that and when he attaches himself to a movie like 'Talaash', it automatically sends out a signal to the people that there must be something interesting going on in the movie. That of course brings in numbers and it brings a lot of people wanting to watch him, but also, I think it brings in certain credibility to a project," he added further.
